Welcome to your SENIOR YEAR!
Welcome to your senior year! This will be a very exciting and busy time in your life. You have come a long way since your freshman year, and I am very excited to be able to work with you during your senior year. You are about to begin planning for the rest of your life!
The faculty and staff at Cordova High School are trying to present you with enough information and options to enable you to make wise choices about your future. The better informed you are, the more options you have. This web page is designed as a resource to help you in several ways. The information here will help guide you through the college and career planning process, joining the military, or getting a job.
The counselor's office has materials related to college information, scholarships, financial aid, the military, and other important reference materials that may prove helpful to you and your parents. You and your parents are welcome to use our resources when necessary.
Throughout this year, you will receive up-to-date information on colleges, campus tours, scholarships, and financial aid as it becomes available. Many colleges have open houses, 'Freshman days," and campus tour days. Plan to visit as many as you can. Many colleges and military representatives will be coming to visit Cordova High School during the school year. We will also be attending a college fair at Bevill State Community College at the end of September.
Cordova High School faculty and staff consider your plans for life after high school a joint partnership. We are eager to assist you and your parents in the process and encourage you to ask for assistance when needed. We wish you the very best in your senior endeavors.
